Custom sight word flashcard FAQs

What is the difference between a high-frequency word and a sight word?
A high-frequency word appears often in text. A sight word is any word a particular learner recognizes automatically. A word may be both, but the terms are not identical.
Can I choose a Dolch or Fry list?
Not yet. Named Dolch, Fry, and Pracendi lists stay unavailable until provenance, rights, spelling, order, and content review are complete. You can use your own local list now.
How many custom words can I add?
The custom editor holds up to 120 words, and the final deck supports up to 200. The workspace reports limits and unsupported characters clearly.
Are custom words saved?
No. Words stay in current page memory and in the cards you deliberately render. They never enter the URL, browser storage, analytics, logs, filenames, or PDF metadata.
